Priscilla Sponsorship

What are the Priscilla Sponsorships at EM:

Entourage Ministries facilitates a secondary education sponsorship program for teenage orphaned and vulnerable youth in Uganda, Africa. This is administered in partnership with Passion Christian Ministries in Kampala. Individual sponsorships allow students to be educated, fed, housed, have access to basic medical care and discipleship opportunities along with interactions between student and sponsor. The name of the program is inspired from the biblical story of Priscilla (along with Aquila) in Acts 18, who took on an intentional mentorship opportunity with Apollos for a specific purpose and time. This program commenced in 2021 and students are sponsored faithfully by individual donors.

Students are fully sponsored at this time. If you are a sponsor and need to update your tithely account contact us at ministries.entourage@gmail.com or click link below.

10 Priscilla Sponsorship Students in Kampala, Uganda, finished their secondary education this spring at Passion Christian High School (PCHS). Students are individually sponsored via Entourage Ministries (EM). Students were either orphaned or displaced from their homes for a number of years. During their time in sponsorship, PCHS leaders worked to resettle students where resettling was an option. EM has worked with PCHS leadership and their agricultural education instructor/farm manager to create a Dairy Cow Training and Entrepreneurship Program. The program would bring students back to campus for a 35-module training, followed by a multi-day field training at the school farm, where students would have the opportunity to receive a dairy cow for their own dairy production entrepreneurship. Students' households would also receive modified training and their own dairy cow. Most of the students were estranged from their homes due to extreme poverty. This training and ownership opportunity may provide a path of sustainability, not only for these youth but for their families. If successful, the youth will be the ones to lead their family from poverty to a form of prosperity. It also allows these students to produce income and consider pursuing their own vocational dreams and goals, with income of their own, rather than being dependent on a sponsor. Cattle were chosen because of the market available for them to sell and trade in close proximity to their homes. To give toward this project, donate here:
