About the event:
Entourage Ministries (EM) is so excited to host our first ever women’s conference! This will be an extension of our monthly gathering that occurs in Durant, OK every second Tuesday! EM is a collective of Christian women from all ages, backgrounds, denominations and congregations and we gather united around worship and the word, in the name of Jesus!
The conference will begin on Friday evening—so that working women will not have to shift schedules (unless they aren’t local). We will open the event with the word and an evening of extended praise and worship as women connect with the Lord and hit the refresh button for a great ending to 2019.
Saturday will be filled with more worship, teaching sessions and breakouts that we are excited to offer on subjects ranging from worship leading and arts ministry to dealing with anxiety, praying for miracles, sharing your testimony, missional foster parenting, following the call on your life, and others that we are still exploring!
Our goal is that this is a conference where women gather to sit at the feet of Jesus and remember all that he has given and to receive all that he has provided—namely hope!
About the theme:
Our team chose the theme “hope now” based on the reality that many women in our world are simply without hope. Even believing women can battle bouts of hopelessness—so this is a conference where we can gather and re-anchor together. Hope is an anchor for our soul! Hope is a word, a calling, and a gift that we want to explore meaningfully in our time together throughout the weekend.
About the venue:
The Visual and Performing Arts Center is owned by Southeastern Oklahoma State University and is near the US HW 69/75 University Exit. The venue is located within 5 minutes and walking distance from multiple eateries. All meals will be eaten offsite.
About the cost and bonus ticket option:
Registration is $20 and that includes a t-shirt (if you register, we will reach out to confirm your shirt size). As you register, you will note the option to add a bonus registration. This option allows you to consider paving the way for a woman to come who otherwise may not be able to. A bonus ticket donation will allow us to cover expenses for women we may bring in from places that spaces that may not have capacity to pay. Adding a bonus ticket is not mandatory it is just an opportunity to sow into what God is going to do at the conference and specifically (hopefully) in the life of another woman. We believe the word that says, “those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed!” This is heart behind this weekend of refreshment. Alternately, if you don’t have the registration fee, we would love to see a bonus ticket benefit you.
