Notes from the battlefield

Context : Ephesians 6:12-13:

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

1- You need the fullness of the body of Christ around you. When you’re stepping it should sound like a waterfall and not a drop, because you’re so in commUNITY with those raised up by God to step with you.

-Romans 12; Ephesians 4:11-16

2- Your “yes” to Him, unlocks resource around you — the greatest of which is people.

1 Kings 17: 6-16; Acts 9

3-There can be discomfort in the moment, when God is exposing the enemy. “An exposed enemy is a defeated enemy.”

-Exodus 14:5-14

4- The power nap - Sabbath made for you

-Elijah 1 kings 18/19; Mark 2:27

5- Obedience over outcome — Don’t fear losing something that you’ve been called into. To live in Christ and to die is gain.

-Numbers 13

6- Climb higher for better perspective: His seat, His horse, His vision

-Ephesians 1:17-23; Rev 19:11-16

7- The Lord wants to speak into the details of battle and he speaks outside of time. Look backward and forward. His word prepares you. Front guard and rear guard. His word is your refuge.

-Judges 7

8- Stretch out your javelin.

Joshua 8:18;26

9- Going from strength to strength is a series of endings and beginnings. Humility and weakness activates grace and strength. When you hit the sweet spot of what you cannot do, you find the favor of the supernatural flow of grace.

2 Corinthians 12:9; James 4:6; 1 Peter 5:5

10- Stay awake in this hour — partner with prayer warriors from the inside and outside who are covering you from all angles.

11- Remember the battle is His and not yours.

-Exodus 14:14

12- You’re equipped for battle and what you’ve worn in one season will often hold your weapons in the next. Weapons meet you along the way.

-1 Samuel 17

13- Wear His armor. Pray in the spirit. His word is your sword and shield.

Ephesians 6:10-18; Jude 1:20; 1 Corinthians 14:14-15; Hebrews 4:12

14-Begin and end and middle with praise.

-Psalm 8:2, 2 Chronicles 2:20
